ULIS

The middle school’s educational project is to recognize each student’s individuality and support them through teaching adapted to their needs.
To this end, assistance is offered to students with Special Educational Needs. A Localized Unit for Inclusive Education (ULIS), focusing on Specific Language and Learning Disorders, has been opened for middle school students.

ULIS – Specific Language and Learning Disorders
Target Audience: Students recognized by the Departmental Disability Office (MDPH) and with an Individualized Schooling Project (PPS) that organizes and defines the conditions of their education.
Goals: Provide students who benefit from this arrangement with a pedagogical structure adapted to their needs, as well as differentiated instruction, either within their regular class or through group sessions in the ULIS room.
Support Methods:
- Instruction provided during ULIS group sessions.
- Possibility of in-class support in the student’s reference class to adapt learning activities.

We make every effort to prepare students not only for the Brevet exam in 9th grade, but above all to get them ready for high school, in keeping with our educational mission.
