BACCALAUREATE – CVPM – ARTISAN CRAFTS AND APPLIED ARTS
(VISUAL COMMUNICATION MULTI-MEDIA OPTION)

Holders of the Applied Arts and Crafts vocational Baccalaureate, Visual Communication Multi-Media option, master layout techniques and can create mock-ups. They also produce 2D/3D illustrations, animations, and multimedia designs based on a designer’s concept. The programme is accessible after the 9th grade, regardless of the chosen option.

The course lasts 3 years. It is also accessible in 2 years for students holding a BEP or CAP in graphic industries such as Industrial Screen Printing, Signage, Display and Decoration, Photography, or Graphic Communication Drafting.

TRAINING CONTENT

Based on the designer’s idea or project, the holder of this vocational baccalaureate produces a prototype intended for large-scale or limited-series reproduction. In a methods office, they perform sampling, select suitable materials, plan the manufacturing process and estimate production costs.

 • In the Applied Arts and Crafts speciality, Visual Communication Multi-Media option, the curriculum includes:

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND ENROLMENT

The programme is open to students after the 9th grade, a general or technological 10th grade, or a vocational 10th grade. Admission is based on an academic and artistic portfolio presented during an interview day.
This artistic portfolio must include both personal and school-related work.
It must be as complete as possible and may include drawings, sketches, photos, videos, digital artwork, 3D pieces, etc.
Students already enrolled in another first-year programme may request, subject to approval, direct entry into the first year of the Bac Pro AMA CVPM.

AND AFTER? CAREER PATHS AND FURTHER STUDIES

The vocational baccalaureate primarily prepares students for further studies in a BTS programme, but direct employment remains possible.
