VOCATIONAL BACCALAUREATE – CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND RECEPTION TRADES

VOCATIONAL BACCALAUREATE – CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND RECEPTION TRADES

This vocational baccalaureate trains reception officers working in organisations likely to receive visitors, clients, users, and telephone traffic. Graduates may work as reception agents, switchboard operators, or call centre agents. They may also hold positions as multi-service reception staff in hospitals or work as reception or airport check-in agents in the transport sector.
They master at least one foreign language, advanced telephone systems, office software, and tools specific to reception. Trained in interpersonal communication techniques, they handle face-to-face or telephone inquiries, assess customer satisfaction, and manage complaints.
They also have commercial skills. They understand customer characteristics, know how to sell services or products related to reception, and contribute to customer loyalty.

Accessible after completing the 9th grade, students enter the second year of the vocational pathway “Customer Relations Trades”, then specialise in the first year either in Sales (Bac Pro MCV) or in Reception Trades.

TRAINING CONTENT

Holders of the vocational Baccalaureate in "Customer Relations and Reception Trades" work directly with customers or users. Graduates may work in the customer relations department of a large company, in a small service provider, or in public administration. They carry out reception duties at a desk or by phone, assist users, and promote or sell specific services.
The training covers multiple aspects: customer relations, telephone reception, service marketing...

Since the 2021 school year, students can register for the optional professional unit “Sports Sector” (UF2S), provided they have completed a minimum 6-week internship in a sports organisation.
