Saint Michel School

Welcome to the website of the Saint Michel School
part of the Saint Louis School Complex in Carcassonne

Saint Michel School is a Catholic school that is part of the network of Catholic schools under contract, to which we belong.

Our school is part of a larger educational group, but above all, it is a school — a place of life where everyone has a role in the education of students, guided by the light of the Gospel.

That is why we strive together to build not an anonymous collective, but an educational community:

Where everyone feels welcomed and recognized as a person.

Where young people can:
- Grow, develop their abilities, and build themselves.
- Access knowledge and prepare for a profession.
- Learn to think independently and take responsibility for themselves.
- Become men and women capable of forming relationships, creating bonds, taking action, and serving others.

Where, through learning, they can:
- Discover values that give meaning to life.
- Receive the message of Jesus Christ.
- Achieve a personal faith, deepen their relationship with God, and discover the true meaning of being human.

Daycare and Supervised Study

Daycare operates:
Morning: 7:30 a.m. to 8:20 a.m.
Evening: 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Supervised study sessions take place in the evening from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; they may be followed by daycare. Once a study session has begun, it must be completed in full so as not to disrupt this work time.
From 5:00 p.m. onward, any child present will be billed for daycare or study.

School Meals

The school meal service is provided by the company API, which prepares menus in consultation with a dietician.
Menus are displayed in the entrance hall. Meals are delivered and heated on site.
Meal reservations must be made in advance through the school office.
Preschool children having lunch are supervised by the preschool assistants.
