ULIS
The city of Carcassonne is home to three private primary schools under contract in its city center:
- L’Immaculée School
- Saint-Michel School
- Jeanne d’Arc School
These three schools share an educational project that focuses on recognizing each student’s individuality and supporting them through teaching tailored to their needs.
To achieve this, an Adaptation Group operates across the three schools to provide support for students with Special Educational Needs.
Additionally, since September 2019, a Localized Unit for School Inclusion (ULIS) specializing in Specific Language and Learning Disorders has been opened, accommodating students from CP (first grade) to CM2 (fifth grade).
